Gorleston Beach Named One of Tripadvisor’s Top UK Beaches

Gorleston-on-sea hit the top spot on the UK’s best beaches for the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Awards.

Coming in at no 23 in 2025’s Europe’s top-rated beaches, the popular Norfolk destination often features among Britain’s favourite places to go, especially in the Summer time.

How Are Certificate of Excellence Recipients Determined?

To determine Certificate of Excellence recipients we use a variety of user-generated content. This includes review ratings, overall rating and quantity and recency of reviews. To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, a hospitality business must:

• Maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five
• Have a minimum number of reviews
• Have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least twelve months

“We have stayed here for 7 years now and gave it a really poor write up last year as we felt it was getting a bit shabby and the staff attitude left a lot to be desired.
This year I am pleased to say it is back to its absolute best as you can see there has been a lot of work done around the park to tidy it up. The staff were also absolutely superb this year and couldn’t do enough for us. Our accommodation this year was also very good, spotlessly clean as ever, with all of the facilities you could need.”

“The staff all very friendly welcoming and helpful at all times.
Lynn and Fran in reception were always very friendly and helpful with any queries.
They are a credit to the company. Also a lovely young man I think was called Brandon.
The outside areas are clean and lovely to walk around. Parking is free and we were allowed to park outside our bungalow to unload on arrival and load up on departure which was great. Car park is a couple of minute’s walk away. I would happily return and recommend this park to anyone.”
